SPINNER EasyDocks Now Even Better

The SPINNER EasyDock is a highly precise adaptor that automatically compensates for shifts in all three dimensions for measuring passive intermodulation (PIM) and VSWR. As soon as docking is complete, measurements can take place under ideal electrical and mechanical conditions.

When the first SPINNER EasyDock was developed, no one expected it to be such a resounding success. And now there are three different bestselling versions.

There are also two lockable versions: one for fully automatic locking and the other for manual locking:

Manually Locking EasyDock

The manually locking SPINNER EasyDock is used mainly in antenna test chambers. Before an antenna is pushed into the chamber, testing adaptors are connected to it and locked by hand.

A new, improved SPINNER EasyDock version is now available for you to take advantage of. The older version had to be slid onto the DUT first and then locked in a second step. The advantage of the new version is that it does both at the same time: it locks the moment you slide it home, without the need to apply pressure in a different place in a second step. Its design has also been made more ergonomic for easier holding and use, thus reducing fatigue.

The new version is now available with 4.3-10 and 7-16 connectors.

Interface Part Number
4.3-10 male push-pull / 4.3-10 female 432057
7-16 male push-pull / 7-16 female 293825

Fully Automatic EasyDock

The fully automated version has a locking ring that can be moved and operated by a special mount (also robotically). The typical application is for a robotic arm to successively attach multiple SPINNER EasyDocks to a DUT. After testing, they are unlocked and retracted one at a time.

Non-Locking EasyDock

The non-locking SPINNER EasyDock version is excellently suited for quickly testing individual components with only a few connections. These can be easily held in place while testing is taking place, either by hand or by applying mechanical pressure.
