Industry

Many industrial manufacturing processes are based on the use of high-frequency electromagnetic energy. Examples include sputter plants that apply anti-reflection coatings on optical glass, plasma etching for the production of semiconductor chips, displays and solar cells, or high-power lasers (CO2 laser with RF excitation) which can be used for applications such as sheet steel cutting and welding.

All these industrial systems make especially high demands on the components in the feed line, between the generator and the application point. In view of the long permanent energy injection it is essential to ensure reliable and continuous RF transmission. In certain cases the high power level in the frequency range up to 27 MHz presents an enormous challenge for the RF line components, as the design usually requires the smallest dimensions as possible.

industry components, switches, cable, connectors

SPINNER offers standard cables and connectors as well as size-optimised solutions. They are based on cables with a PTFE dielectric and connectors with high electric strength. Additionally the connector provides a smaller collar nut instead of the usual mounting flange.

Besides a wide range of standard components SPINNER also offers a large number of customer-specific products. We co-operate closely with our customers to develop optimised solutions for special applications. Examples include coaxial components that can be used in vacuum and connectors for outside use on aircraft or in train bogies.
