Fibre Optic Links

Mobile communication users expect full coverage even in radio shadow areas, e. g. in road tunnels, underground stations or large buildings such as airports, railway stations, office blocks, shopping centres or sports stadiums, regardless of the mobile communication standard. For that purpose SPINNER has developed fibre-optic analogue links that allow loss-free broadband signal transmission in the frequency range from 50 MHz through 2.7 GHz over a distance of several kilometres, regardless of the used modulation.

We are using the most advanced technologies, e. g. DFB or FP laser diodes, to achieve top performance at a reasonable price. Low noise and excellent linearity are further features of our fibre optic links.  We also offer options such as versions with increased transmitter input sensitivity, higher bandwidth, a 1,550 nm wavelength range and component sub assemblies with a single or a redundant power supply.

Fibre optic links made by SPINNER are in use all over the world, and their reliability, maintenance-free operation, high performance and design fully satisfy our customers.  Their high quality and affordable price allow their use even in applications where economic considerations had so far forced users to make do without the advantages of fibre-optic systems.
