Calling all cell tower technicians!
The new SPINNER 3-in-1 OSL compact calibration kits for the NEX10® and 4.3-10 coaxial connector systems will be available in July. This means that you can save measuring equipment weight when climbing a cell tower and still perform a complete OSL (Open, Short, Load) 1-channel calibration of the network analyzer.
In addition, our SPINNER compact calibration kits are supplied with universal calibration data. The advantages of using it on a cell station are obvious:
- Universal use in a (complex) range of measuring instruments, as the kits are readily interchangeable thanks to the generic calibration data.
- There is no 1:1 connection between the measuring instrument and the compact calibration kit to consider.
- Calibration data does not need to be re-entered after a recalibration or replacement.
As with our proven 4-in-1 OSLT compact calibration kits, the new 3-in-1 OSL compact calibration kits can also be attached to a safety cable by means of the eyelet integrated in the elegant, anodized aluminum housing and thus secured against falling from great heights.
Frequency Range up to 7.5 GHz
The four new SPINNER 3-in-1 OSL compact kits 4.3-10-male and female as well as NEX10® male and female support a frequency range up to 7.5 GHz and are thus in line with the specifications of the FR1 frequency range for the 5G NR, which has been redefined by the 3GPP consortium.
Forgotten Device Documents during On-site Installation are a Thing of the Past!
SPINNER would also like to make its contribution to conserving resources. The new OSL calibration kits are shipped without paper documents. All four calibration kits contain a laser-based, abrasion-resistant QR code that opens the corresponding data sheet in our product finder when scanned with a smartphone.
4.3-10
Future cellular networks will require the implementation of RF signal transmission in increasingly confined spaces with low losses and minimal susceptibility to interference due to passive intermodulation. This market requirement has led to the development of the coaxial connector series 4.3-10 with a specification of up to 12 GHz.
NEX10®
NEX10® offers very low PIM performance combined with the advantages of a small size thanks to a compact design. The separation of the electrical contact from the mechanical connection mechanism is another outstanding feature of NEX10®. The result is a SPINNER product with a low PIM level and at the same time a high RL-power, regardless of the connector mechanism or the applied torque.
