Directional Couplers

Frequency combining can be easily achieved with basic components such as our couplers. Our products stand out due to their high isolation and extremely low intermodulation (low PIM).

We offer broadband components that enable the use of a single distribution system for all mobile communication applications within the frequency range of 330 to 3800 MHz, including TETRA, GSM900, GSM1800, UMTS, WLAN, WiMAX, and LTE.

SPINNER Directional Couplers

Directional couplers are designed to split an input signal into two equal or differently sized portions, with both outputs being strongly decoupled from one another. Additionally, they can combine two input signals of different frequencies.

This makes them a simple and cost-effective solution for connecting two BTS signals.

Directional couplers are essential components in broadcast stations and mobile communication networks. They allow engineers to monitor signal strength, analyze performance, and distribute signals to various components within the system.

Typical Applications

  • Signal Monitoring: Directional couplers allow RF engineers to monitor signal strength and quality at various points in the RF system to ensure optimal performance.
  • Signal Measurement: They facilitate precise measurement of RF signals for troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Signal Distribution: Directional couplers efficiently distribute RF signals to multiple components or devices within the transmission line with minimal signal loss.
  • Isolation: They minimize interference and ensure signal integrity by providing high decoupling between input and output ports.
  • Versatility: SPINNER directional couplers are available in various configurations and frequency ranges, making them suitable for a wide range of applications in broadcast and mobile communication systems.

Products and Solutions for DAS

Symmetrical Splitters

Symmetrical splitters/Power splitters distribute the signals evenly to all outputs.

Asymmetrical Splitters (Tappers)

Asymmetrical splitters distribute the signals unevenly.

Antennas

Antennas at the end of the distribution system transmit the signal.

Jumpers and Cables

Our ready-made cable assemblies connect components in the distributed antenna system (DAS). We also offer cables without connectors for on-site assembly to meet the given requirements.
