About two years ago, SPINNER added in-building antennas to its portfolio. This move upgraded us to the status of a complete supplier for in-building mobile communications solutions. NEX10® products are increasingly penetrating the market, thus also generating a need for even more adapter versions for combining them with older connectors used in mobile systems.

The trend among consumers is shifting from conventional “linear” television watched at home to mobile on-demand videos. In other words, movies and news reports are increasingly being consumed on the go. This is imposing significant additional loads on mobile communications networks, and cell sites can only support a limited number of recipients.

SPINNER is ready for the future with its new BN 766440 surge protector. This product meets all major requirements for today’s and tomorrow’s mobile communication market.

A 55-storey, state-of-the art office high-rise in the heart of downtown Frankfurt, the MAIN TOWER is among one of the more prominent features of the riverside cityscape. Its occupants – prestigious banks, international law firms and consulting companies – expect nothing less than ubiquitous coverage for mobile communications throughout the building. B.Schmitt mobile was tasked to plan and install a network that would meet these demands. It features components furnished by SPINNER.

In 2019 we joined the vanguard by incorporating the NEX10® system into our connector portfolio. And what began with adapters and test equipment is continuing to grow. We are now also offering this new connector system for our jumpers. It has already been available for SF1/4” und SF3/8” jumpers, and starting immediately is also being launched for SF1/2” jumpers. You can choose NEX10® male, male right-angle, female, or female bulkhead connectors.

Earlier this year, we presented our new distance-to-fault feature: a passive solution that locates faults for fast repairs. Customers showed great interest in it and asked a number of questions, including: How does the passive distance-to-fault method work? What kind of faults can be detected? Can it detect minor problems in the system or only major faults?
