SPINNER GmbH has received accreditation from the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) for its calibration laboratory. This accreditation confirms the laboratory’s competence to perform calibrations in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 within the defined scope of accreditation.

The accreditation has been effective since February 20, 2026, and covers calibrations in the field of high-frequency and radiation measurement quantities.

SPINNER has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for four complete R14/WR650 waveguide runs destined for the ALBA Synchrotron near Barcelona. The systems will supply RF to the third-harmonic cavities operating at 1.5 GHz, supporting a major upgrade of the facility.

The ALBA upgrade introduces third-harmonic cavities designed to significantly enhance beam performance.
