SPINNER China

SPINNER Telecommunication Devices (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. manufactures high quality mobile communication components and MNCS systems (Mobile Network Combining System), broadcast components and systems and rotary joints in its ten thousand square meter factory.

Production in Shanghai is being carried out with same state of the art equipment used by its headquarters in Munich, Germany. The company 's standard is also set by using SPINNER's well tested quality and environment management systems DIN ISO EN 9001 and DIN ISO EN 14001, thereby ensuring the well-known "SPINNER QUALITY' for the products which are manufactured in here.

SPINNER Telecommunication Devices (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. began production in March 2001. Since 2006 the company has been running successfully its own R&D department for above mentioned products.

Our objective is "German Quality Made in China" to provide excellent products and services to our customers.

Production

The current production in our plant in Shanghai includes all mobile communication components (e.g. connectors, cable assemblies, splitters, couplers, combiners, loads, attenuators and MNCS systems), broadcast components and systems (e.g. filters, combiners, etc.), and waveguide rotary joints (e.g. single channel waveguide rotary joint)

CNC-controlled machining centers, highly precise milling centers, measuring and testing devices cover submicron range, together with efficient production control ensure flexibility, accuracy and premium SPINNER quality.

Service in China

Our service center was introduced in 2006 as a response to increasing demand in Asia for high quality RF components and systems. Nowadays, we are able to provide both factory and on-site filter/combiner frequency retuning service and maintenance for all RF components in factory by our service team 24/7.

Research and Development

Our R&D team has set itself the task of maintaining and permanently expanding our leading position in RF technology. We meet our customers' quickly changing requirements by continuously improving existing products and creating new innovative solutions.

Our strengths are many years of experience, technical competence, our most modern manufacturing facilities and close interaction between our highly qualified workers which enables us to quickly provide solutions to our customers.

Growth and Quality in Harmony with the Environment

Nowadays companies are judged for how they well they manage the impacts their activities have on the environment and natural resources. And the SPINNER Group long ago realized the importance of taking responsible action to meet the many associated challenges.
 
By introducing dedicated management systems for environment protection, energy, and quality, the SPINNER Group has made sure to systematically consider and comply with environmentally relevant legal requirements and societal expectations in harmony with its corporate strategy. Appropriate programs for meeting these requirements are regularly monitored and adjusted to ensure their effectiveness.

The SPINNER Group’s environmental commitment is also expressed in meticulous selection of environmentally compatible materials and production methods. Selected raw materials and other preliminary products are purchased from carefully selected suppliers and waste disposal is handled by special service providers, all of which comply with exacting environmental standards and/or are appropriately certified. The use of environmentally critical substances in our operations is continually monitored and every effort made to replace them with less critical alternatives or, if this is impossible, reduce their use. 

SPINNER makes a direct contribution to efficiently using raw materials and thus conserving resources by consistently recycling waste from production processes and appropriately using and reusing returned packaging (in compliance with Article 15, Paragraph 1 of the German Packaging Act).

By implementing stringent energy management measures, SPINNER has succeeded in reducing overall energy consumption and systematically improving its energy efficiency. Last but not least, all employees are encouraged to contribute ideas for steadily improving the company’s environmental performance. Many valuable suggestions for large and small improvements have already been submitted and successfully put into practice.

This commitment is expressed, among other ways, by the fact that SPINNER maintains certified management systems that comply with DIN EN ISO 9001 (for quality assurance), DIN EN ISO 14001 (for environmental protection) and DIN EN ISO 50001 (for energy conservation). These management systems are regularly audited by both in-house departments and independent institutes, which subjects them to a process of continual improvement.

We also meet our obligations in connection with EU Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH). This European Union regulation entered into force on June 1, 2007. REACH stands for “registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals”, and the purpose of this regulation is to protect human health and the environment from the risks that chemicals can pose.

SPINNER Lauenstein

New Logistics Center

We are expanding our facility in Lauenstein with a state-of-the-art logistics center for in-building systems and mobile communication components. The initial construction work for this project has already commenced (as of October 2023), and we aim to be operational by the second quarter of 2024.

This expansion significantly enhances the capabilities of our location, positioning it as a central hub for shipping our high-quality products from Central Europe to the world. We are investing in the latest warehouse technology standards, including tray lifts and heavy-duty shelving systems, to ensure that our storage and logistics are at the forefront of technology.

Covering an area of approximately 1,250 square meters, the new logistics center allows us to dispatch our entire mobile communication portfolio as a complete provider. This not only enables us to expand our capacities in the future but also ensures an even better service for our customers.

Our goal is to be fully operational by April 2024, providing our customers worldwide with more efficient and faster deliveries. We are confident that this expansion will elevate our company to a new level and look forward to the positive developments it will bring for us and our customers.

Fully Automated Jumper Production in Lauenstein, Germany

In 2005, SPINNER began automating jumper production and has since been a pioneer in this field. Specifically, a new soldering technique was developed, revolutionizing jumper manufacturing. SPINNER relies on automated manufacturing processes and is capable of offering its jumpers at the highest level with consistently high quality.

SPINNER achieved completely automated jumper production in 2005, thus advancing to the vanguard of its industry. All of the individual components used are also manufactured in-house for full vertical integration. Right from the design stage of creating every new jumper, we focus attention on optimizing its production. The results are unique in terms of quality, technical properties and long service life. The bottom line is that we significantly and lastingly reduce our customers’ operating costs. Our jumpers are easy to install, require no additional protection, and continue working reliably in their intended uses for decades.

We produce coaxial RG, corrugated tube, and HELIFLEX® cables in all popular shapes and sizes. In doing so, we thoroughly support our customers in everything from flexible product development all the way to dedicated solutions for industry.
